Josefinas’ Book Club: Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls

We believe that education is the best weapon we can give to a girl. Girls who go to school are healthier, earn more money as adults, are married later, and make their children's education a priority. Education is an investment that pays off now and in the future as well.

So, when the time came to choose the books for the month, we decided to include a suggestion that not only fits the values we defend, but one is perfect for all ages.

"Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls" is our first suggestion of May!

From Coco Chanel to Frida Kahlo, through Misty Copeland, Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie, "Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls" brings together the stories of 100 women who have made (and continue to make) a difference in the world as we know it.

Written by Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo, and illustrated by 60 artists, all women, among them the Portuguese Helena Morais Soares, "Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls" is an inspiring book that deserves to be part of the routine of mothers and daughters before going to bed.
